2014 Pac-12 All-Conference Teams: Sun Devil Selections

Last night on the Pac-12 Networks, the Pac-12 Football All-Conference Teams were announced.  These honors are not decided by the media or the fans, but these honors come straight from the voting of the Pac-12 head coaches.

Here are the Sun Devils voted to this year’s All-Conference Teams:

Pac-12 First Team All-Conference Offense

WR Jaelen Strong, redshirt junior, 75 receptions, 1062 yards, 10 TDs
OL Jamil Douglas, redshirt senior

Pac-12 First Team All-Conference Defense

S Damarious Randall, redshirt senior, 101 tackles (85 solo), 9.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 3 interceptions, 8 passes broken up, 2 forced fumbles

Pac-12 Second Team All-Conference Offense

RB D.J. Foster, junior, 183 rushes, 1002 yards, 9 TDs, and 59 receptions, 646 yards, 3 TDs
C  Nick Kelly, junior

Pac-12 Second Team All-Conference Defense

None

Pac-12 Second Team All-Conference Special Teams

K Zane Gonzalez, sophomore, 19-24 on field goals, 47-49 on extra points

Fifteen Sun Devils were honored, and the class breakdown is as follows:

  • How they became Sun Devils?
    • Dennis Erickson Signing – 1 (Douglas)
    • Todd Graham Signing – 11 (includes four junior college signings)
    • Division 1 Transfers – 3 (Simone, Carrington, and Westerman)

Therefore, assuming Strong declares for the NFL Draft, eleven honored Sun Devils return to the lead the Sun Devils in the 2015 season.
