Monday Morning Twitter Pages: Goodbye and Hello Edition

on

The much anticipated Letter Of Intent (LOI) day came and went on Wednesday, and it may have marked the death of another technological advancement from years past.  Fax machines sat quietly in spare offices on college campuses across the nation, as high school athletes begin to send their NLI paperwork to their college of choice via electronic signatures.  Letter of Intent day was the fax machine’s Super Bowl, but now it will sit beside the pager, pay phone, and home telephone in the communication graveyard.  Rest in peace fax machine, it was one hell of a run.

Leading up to LOI day, there was no rest to be had by college football coaches, especially in Tempe.  Todd Graham and his relative new staff endured seemingly bizarre and unique circumstances with many of their top targets in the 2017 class.  Everything from overzealous parents, indecisive targets, and potential character flaws created a huge challenge for the sixth year head coach.   The Sun Devil leader also had to endure another year of musical chairs with the coaching staff as several key members left for promotions or more money and proximity to home.  While the on field talent of the 2017 class will not be known for one to two years, Graham and his staff were relentless in their pursuit to better the program.

Shaking off the rust and clearing out the cobwebs, here is your Twitter Pages recap of all that you may have missed on Letter of Intent Day 2017.

About Kevin Camp

Kevin Camp

Kevin is a '96 Sun Devil grad of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Contrary to his last name, Kevin is not one to stay in one place too long. Kevin has called Washington, Arizona, Utah, and again Arizona home since his days at ASU nearly 20 years ago. A passion for photography in his spare time turned to a great opportunity to shoot Sun Devil sporting events. He has photographed Sun Devils football at Camp T, Tempe practices, Utah, and Colorado while shooting some basketball and baseball as the teams visited Utah. Now that Kevin resides in Flagstaff, he is looking forward to reigniting the family tradition of Camp T with his wife and son. Kevin is also the VP of the ASU Alumni Association Flagstaff club.
